Our flagship store in High Falls, NY is overflowing with color, texture, and ever-changing vignettes. There are heirloom treasures and items that inspire wanderlust at every turn. There's a curated assortment of Fair Trade and handcrafted housewares and gifts from around the globe that have a positive impact on the communities from which they came.
Nectar offers a rare blend of imported and local furniture, art, glassware and tabletop items, exquisite jewelry, luscious hand blended organic teas and chocolate, statuary, decadent candles and body products, a fun children's section, Putumayo CDs, antique doors, and much, much more. Traditional pieces sit side by side with designs dreamed up or hand selected, utilizing reclaimed and recycled materials with little environmental impact. Many of our beautiful inspired items are Fair Trade, supporting women’s cooperatives and community projects in developing countries around the world, tree-planting initiatives, AIDS research and sustainable development.
There's much to experience here at Nectar, and we've worked hard to build a team that fosters that environment while working towards building our brand beyond our teeny hamlet in upstate New York. We pursue the entrepreneurial, passionate, innovative, and especially the roll-up-the-sleeves-and-dive-right-in sort. If you appreciate our offerings and want to contribute to our story while working in a fun, creative space surrounded by beautiful objects and a conscious community, you've come to the right place!
You are strategic by nature, helping to build a quickly growing small business. This full-time position is based at our store in High Falls, NY.
